06/17/02 09/12/02 I went from 3-4 headaches a week and  2 plus migraines a month down to around 3 headaches a month. Big improvement in the quality of life. Illness: Got whiplash from car accident, also have forward head posture and a little scoliosis. Progress you have made since beginning of  Chiropractic treatment: It's been going great! I no longer get headaches and my back pain is mostly gone. I have more mobility in my neck and in my movements. my posture is greatly improving and I feel that I can perform better in sports. Comments: In the beginning I was skeptical of the whole process, but I decided to give it a shot and see what happened. I am glad I did. The results aren't only shown by my words but also in the x-rays and pictures. NO ONE can dispute that! NAME: Mary Lou  AGE: 38 Years 1. ILLNESS OR TYPE OF DISABILITY: "ENVIRONMENTALLY ILL", Asthma, Migraine, (neck and back, also shoulder pain), Eczema (skin), Chronic sinusitis, Upper Respiratory Infections (off and on), Bronchitis from morning to night. 2.LENGTH OF ILLNESS AND SEVERITY: ALL MY LIFE! Since birth, which was traumatic. I don't even remember attending elementary school (Pre-K to the 6th grade). 3. MEDICATIONS TAKEN AND RESULTS FROM THEM: Medication treatments started at the age of 7 years old. Marax (strong medicine, side affects, I was sure my heart was in the process of an explosion, Meds now taken off market). Other asthma/allergy medications I have taken over the years are: Antibiotics in every form (some allergic reactions were severe), Allegra, Claritin-D, Humibid, Flonase, Flovent, Albuterol, Seldane-now off the market, Duratap-now off market, pseudophedrine-240 mg max dose, Prednisone, Benadryl, Zyrtec, Accolate, Nasacrom, Zyflo, Azmacort, Atrovent, Cromolyn. Many of the side affects were worse than the symptoms they were to treat. 4. PAST TREATMENTS FROM ILLNESS (other than medications) AND PROGRESS YOU RECEIVED FROM THEM: I received Chiropractic Treatment once every 6 weeks for about a year. This was after a 3 month period of 3 times a week. Of course this was short lived but kept me going for awhile. In the meantime, I was still choking to death from food allergies unknown to me. I was 7 years old when my initial series of allergy shots began. This lasted for the next ten years of my life. Along with the allergy shots included Medicine, Medicine, and more Medicine! Life was a blur until I reached about 30 years old. This was the time when a second set of allergy shot series began, which made me barely functional and bed ridden. This series of allergy shots lasted for the next 2 years. During those last 2 years I began my own research to help improve my health, discovering alternative medicine. 5. WHAT PROGRESS HAVE YOU MADE SINCE YOU STARTED CHIROPRACTIC TREATMENTS/NAET: Through chiropractic treatments and NAET I now have more better weeks than bad weeks. Before I measured my life in hours in relation to medication time. (Which Dr P found me to be allergic to) I have progressed through 79 NAET treatments and my adjustments continue to be twice a week. However I still have a ways to go, my walk through life has become easier. 7. COMMENTS: Dr. Peterson is my "Angel on Earth". He truly was my last HOPE. Forever grateful I will be.   I was suffering from  left leg pain and neck pain. In 6 months time my leg pain has disappeared and my neck pain is less frequent than before.
